This delicious dish can be served as a starter at a special meal, or as a snack at a drinks party.

JESSICA’S-REINDEER-AND-SALMON-WRAPS-ed

Ingredients

Several sheets of Tunnbröd (soft flat bread)

Butter and cream cheese for spreading

150 g sliced smoked reindeer (vacuum-packed sleeve)

¼ cup fresh horseradish, or 4 tbsps from a tube of ready-made horseradish

Large lettuce leaves, washed

½ red onion, finely chopped

Some chopped chives

 

Method

  1. Spread the tunnbröd slice with butter and cream cheese
  2. Place the reindeer slices evenly on the bread
  3. Grate some fresh horseradish over the meat
  4. Add the lettuce, sliced red onion and chopped chives
  5. Roll up the wrap tightly, and slice it into 2-cm-long slices, diagonally, with a sharp knife
  6. Repeat the process with slices of smoked salmon or gravid lax (prepared salmon.)
